On 8th February 2018 Warwick Daily News announced:

"WITHIN weeks Graham and Lyn White will be putting their feet up.

Reward for almost 44 years at the helm of South West Parcel Express, a business they started with family in the mid-1970s.

Mr White said it was well and truly time to retire. "The business has been on the market for a while, but we knew we wanted to get out early this year so we decided it would be better to sell something than nothing and have to close the doors for good.

Mr White said the company started out of a need in the region. "There was a company at the time that folded quite suddenly and left a gap in the market," he said.

"My brother-in-law and I started with one truck."

At the time of sale, the company had 15 employees and 12 trucks.

Mr White said after he and Lyn were sick of traveling, he'd like to find a rock and roll band that didn't play too many late gigs.
